The native area, cradle of Piero della Francesca and Michelangelo, has left something in the air, judging from the good vibrations, which resonate all through the valley and also in Priello. Thanks to the art of hospitality by Brent and Alessandro, the "Prisoner of the 5ht Avenue" (or, should I say, instead of citing Neil Simon's evergreen, of the Roman traffic jam) transforms himself in "The quiet American" (but without Maureen O'Hara ...). Ok, I'm no John Wayne, (and "I'm no Angel", just to cite Mae West) but I can assure you, that, with "A room with a view" - such the one that you'll have in Priello - no one of you will stay "Eyes wide shut", without enjoying the combined syinergy of Italy and America ... Thank you so much, Brent and Alessandro, from the deep of our heart.

One year ago today, Duane and I left Seattle for Italy. . . and several days later, arrived on your maountain-top. Apparently, we were some of the lucky few to meet Vlad. Priello is like a slice of Heaven. It's beautiful almost beyond imagination and peaceful, yet just being with Brent is a total hoot! This place is an excellent combination of solace and laughter. It's up to you to participate in the goings-on at the farm and with the other guests as much or as little as you want. Each time I've been there, the guests have been, as Brent would put it (he speaks in triads) "fun, fun, fun." Priello just seems to attract good people. And being a big animal-lover, I especially enjoy being able to walk in the fields with the horses and dogs, watch the baby lambs running beside their maaamaaas (sorry!), or just sit in the sun and read, stroking Kittany Spears.
