| STAYING AT THE FARM |
All rooms are comfortably furnished and your time here will be remebered as a very relaxing holiday.
A full breakfast with our farm products (such as fresh goat milk - hand milked by you, for the adventurous! -, fresh eggs, wild fruit jam and home baked goods) will start your morning, which may continue with an art tour, some exercise or simply passing a lazy country day.
For those of you who would like to visit the surroundings, full of history, arts and traditions, you will be able to see (within half an hour drive):
- Caprese Michelangelo, birthplace of Michelangelo
- Anghiari, a beautiful medieval town
- Sansepolcro, hometown of Piero della Francesca
- Monterchi and the "Pregnant Madonna" painting by Piero della Francesca
- Bibbiena, Poppi and other cities of the "Casentino" area
- "La Verna" and "Camaldoli" monastery, two very important centers for cristianity
- ...and, also within an hour drive, Arezzo, Citta' di Castello, Perugia, Urbino and many other beautiful sites in Tuscany, Umbria or Marche, three of the most beautiful and famous regions of Italy.
For those of you who would like some exercise, you can choose among:
- Swimming (in our swimming pool)
- Trekking
- Mountain bike
- Horse-back riding
- Farm life (yes, this is a great exercise: try it!)
...and, at a very short distance:
- Tennis
- Swimming (in the Singerna River)
For anyone wishing to try their hand (and an helping hand is ALWAYS welcome) there are pigs to feed, sheep to milk, cheese to make, organic gardens to tend, jelly to prepare, fruit trees, honey bees, olives and tons of chestnut to harvest.
